Subject: Spring 2019 Python offerings
-----
There are two upcoming opportunities for learning the Python programming language:
First, the iSchool and University of Arizona Libraries are offering a three-month introduction to Python workshop. This workshop series is designed to help novices to programming get started with the Python language. The workshop will run Wednesday, February 13 through Wednesday, May 1, every Monday and Wednesday afternoon. Registration is required and registrants who can participate in all sessions will be given priority (register at https://tinyurl.com/python-2019-spring). Participants will be expected to bring their own laptop.
Second, there is a Software Carpentry workshop on February 23 & 24. More details about what the workshop will cover and a link to the registration page is at https://ua-carpentries-workshops.github.io/2019-02-23-Tucson/.
Cheers,
Jeff
