Next week, I'll be hosting Pat Schloss for a PLS seminar (he has promised to mention plants!). Pat's research focuses on investigating links between the microbiome and "disease", he's the creator of the program Mothur, he plays a key role in the leadership of the American Society for Microbiology, and is an all around awesome human being. I'm currently putting together his meeting schedule, and if you'd like to meet with Pat please fill out a time and place on the google sheet below. Please also share this email with anyone that might be interested (including postdocs and grad students). Please also sign up if you'd be interested in joining Pat for dinner on Tuesday 12/4.
