                Two opportunities to participate in free diversity and inclusion events:


1.      **Registration Opening on Monday, February 19, at 8:00 am for the Second Annual UA Inclusive Excellence Symposium that will take place on Friday, March 30, 8:00 am - 3:30 pm, SUMC.  The UA Inclusive Excellence Symposium is an in-house diversity conference with various workshop sessions and two keynote speakers. The symposium is free and open to UA students, faculty and staff.  Please register early as only 300 participants can attend!


2.      CALS PERSPECTIVES ON DIVERSITY & INCLUSION SPEAKER SERIES
Dr. Teresa Brett - 'Creating More Inclusive Environments for Students: Countering Micro-aggressions'
In this session, she will discuss the concept of microaggressions, how they contribute to a larger campus climate for students, and ways to counter and create a more inclusive environment that supports student success. Participants will explore types, examples, and impacts of microaggressions, as well as resources and support for navigating the environment.
