Subject: [eeb] Unconscious Bias Project Workshop!
Hello Everyone,
I am excited to announce that during the first week of October the Associated Graduate Council for the College of Science (AGCCS) is hosting the Unconscious Bias Project from UC Berkeley. Unconscious biases are learned stereotypes that are automatic, unintentional, deeply engrained, universal, and able to influence behavior. This project specifically works with people in STEM programs to identify and combat unconscious bias around them, for more information please go to http://unconsciousbiasproject.org/about/.
Before putting anything into stone, we would like to first gauge interest level in the workshop and also determine what days/times/length of workshop work best for everyone. We would like to make sure we can include as many people as possible!
Please take time to fill out this survey<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSele0j7gIUZEwmwRRGllNk4wSWTngTafcpm_LBB6_bG37Bw_A/viewform?usp=sf_link> using the link below by Friday September 7th and if you have any questions or concerns please contact neshleman at email.arizona.edu<mailto:neshleman at email.arizona.edu>
