[Plantsci] Classroom Incident Training - reminder

Hi Everyone,

One of the top priorities in the School of Plant Sciences is to provide classroom experiences that support learning in every way.  From the standpoint of academics, we strive to do this by providing relevant course content that is delivered in a clear, engaging manner.  An equally important goal is to ensure that we protect our learning environments from disruptions.

While we do not anticipate any classroom disruptions, classroom incident training can help prepare us for an unanticipated event and give us an idea of the University resources that are available.  To provide this training, I would like to invite you all to join me on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 4 pm in Marley 230 for classroom incident training.  This training will be led by the Dean of Student's office with help from members of the U of A's Behavioral Intervention Team.

Every member of the School is welcome and encouraged to attend.  I hope to see you there.
