The final candidate for the Plant Ecological and Evolutionary Genomics Cluster is Dr. Andy Jones, and he will interview on campus April 14-15. Dr. Jones received his Ph.D. in 2004 at the University of Georgia with Steve Hubbell, and he is currently Assistant Professor at Oregon State University.  He studies the molecular ecology of tropical trees, including their dispersal, community diversity, and associations with soil microbial diversity.

Dr. Jones's seminar "Integrating plant ecology and genomics to understand tropical species response to habitat loss and seasonal drought" is this Thursday, April 14 @ 3:00-4:00pm in McClelland Park 101.
