The third candidate for the Plant Ecological and Evolutionary Genomics Cluster is Dr. Chris Muir, and he will interview on campus today and tomorrow, April 7-8. Dr. Muir received his Ph.D. in 2013 at Indiana University and is currently a Post-doctoral Associate at the Biodiversity Research Centre at the University of British Columbia.  He studies the evolution of physiological tradeoffs and growth strategies and their relation to environmental stress, especially in tomato and model systems like monkey-flower.


His seminar ""How and why? Towards an evolutionary physiological synthesis" is today, April 7 from 3:00-4:00pm, McClelland Park 101
