[Plantsci] Annual Departmental Softball Game.

On behalf of the plant sciences graduate students,



This is a friendly reminder that it's almost time for the 1st annual Hans
Van Etten memorial softball game! The event will be held on Saturday,
November 7 at Fort Lowell Park: 2900 N. Craycroft Rd. Along with the field
(#8) we have reserved a nearby ramada (#6) at which we are providing a
picnic catered by BrushFire BBQ (http://www.brushfirebbq.com/). We expect
the picnic to begin at 12pm, and the game to begin at 1pm.



We are looking forward to a great turnout! Significant others, children,
and pets are all welcome and encouraged. Please RSVP using this Doodle link

are able to.



In addition to your invitation we are asking for your help in raising funds
for the cost of the food and park reservation. We are asking for donations
of: $20 from faculty, $10 from post-docs and staff, and $5 from graduate
students. Those wishing to consume alcohol in the form of beer are
suggested to contribute $10 each to a separate fund. Please direct
contributions to the graduate club treasurer, Seth Steichen
ssteiche at email.arizona.edu. We need to order the catering prior to the
event so please donate soon!
