[intermittent service interruption] [UPDATE] Error Accessing Email (UAConnect) using Internet Explorer, Monday, October 5th, 8:30 a.m.

Update:  Our email site was inadvertently blocked by Microsoft but has now been removed from Microsoft's phishing filter list.  It may take up to 24 hours for access via Internet Explorer to return to normal.

Overview: Unsafe website error using Internet Explorer to reach Outlook Web Access (OWA) via mail.catnet.arizona.edu or uaconnect.arizona.edu.

Services Affected: Internet Explorer reports that OWA is unsafe.

Date and Time: Monday, October 5th, 8:30 a.m.

Impact to Campus:  Customers using Internet Explorer to access email via Outlook Web Access (OWA) may receive an error after login.

Planned Operation: UITS is aware of the situation and is currently working to resolve the issue.  In the interim, customers can disable their SmartScreen filter in Internet Explorer or use another browser such as Chrome or Firefox instead.
