With great pleasure we announce the 13th International Symposium on Rice Functional Genomics (ISRFG13, http://isrfg13-wuhan.org/) in Wuhan, China, September 21-24, 2015. The theme of this symposium is "Rice Genome and Technology: Feeding the Billions". 
 
We hope that you will enjoy the scientific topics covering recent breakthroughs in rice functional genomics, genome biology, stress biology, evolutionary biology, and new genomics tools. The symposium will also focus on the impact of the rice genome on agriculture, to address the issue that "Using Rice Genomics to Help Solve the 9-billion People Question".
