Upcoming workshops for faculty, postdocs, and graduate students
* Sept. 11, starting at 10:00: Taking the Hassle out of Compliance
Faculty, graduate students, and postdocs are invited to stop by for just 30 minutes or more to learn more about research compliance from Jennifer K. Barton, Associate Vice President for Research. After a short overview, you will have the opportunity to ask questions to your relevant compliance program officer, pick up forms, and learn exactly what you need to do. You're welcome to stay for only part of the time or for the entire time. The agenda is as follows:
10:00-10:15 - Introduction to Research Compliance at UA, Jennifer K. Barton, Ph.D.
10:15-10:30 - Compliance program officer introductions
10:30-11:30 - Meet and Greet, Q & A, with compliance program officers

This hands-on workshop will provide instructors with strategies for using clickers in the classroom to enhance student engagement and promote active and collaborative learning. Whether you are looking to expand the current use of clickers in a class or just curious about how clickers might be used in teaching, please join us. We will also provide information on the integration of Turning Technologies with D2L, getting students to register their clickers through D2L and how to move data collected using clickers into your D2L course site.
