Responsible Conduct of Research Workshop scheduled for March 5, 2014

The University of Arizona Cancer Center, in collaboration with the Office of the Senior Vice President for Research, invites student, postdoctoral, and junior faculty researchers to the following event:
Responsible Conduct of Research Workshop
Wednesday, March 5, 2014
12:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
UA Cancer Center's Kiewit Auditorium
The workshop will include presentations and Q & A on the following topics:

  *   IRB and Subject Consent
  *   HIPAA and Privacy Issues
  *   Conflict of Interest Policies and Procedures
  *   Working with Vertebrate Animals
  *   Research Involving Native Americans and/or Indigenous Peoples
Attendance at this workshop provides 4 hours of RCR instruction and counts toward requirements by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the National Science Foundation (NSF).
Note: Advance registration is not required. Attendees will sign in and sign out to indicate their presence at the workshop and earn credit toward NIH/NSF RCR requirements.
