Update on Air-Handler construction and airflow restarts and downtimes:

3rd Floor South Hallway: The air/cooling should be up and running by this Friday (April 18th).

1st Floor (basement) South Hallway:  air flow will be shut off starting this Friday and Saturday (April 18th/19th) and be off for 2 weeks. Please let me know ASAP which rooms will need cooling (there are labs in the basement southeast hallway area, etc.,.) so Facilities Management can provide coolers by this Friday.

4th Floor South Hallway: The air/cooling should be up and running by next Friday (April 25th).

4th Floor North Hallway: Currently scheduled to have the air shut off for 2 weeks staring ~ May 1st. More details to follow as the schedule progresses.

Subject: ALERT-BLDG. #36 FORBES: 3rd FLOOR AIR-HANDLERS
FYI:

Starting Monday, March 31st, construction will begin on the 3rd FLOOR AIR-HANDLERS in the SOUTH HALLWAY. The air will be completely turned off in that hallway March 31st - April 17th.

If you need to request office coolers from Facilities Management please do so ASAP so I can pass on the request.

I also want to note Facilities Management complimented the occupants of Forbes for tolerating the construction. I think we can all agree the end result will be well worth the effort.
