[Plantsci] SPLS journal club - an important announcement

The SPLS journal club (PLS 695A) will meet every Tuesday between 12-1PM in
Marley 441H. This journal club is open to every one in our school. 

Each week, one of the graduate students registered in PLS 695A will choose
and lead the discussion of a recent research article in any aspect of plant
biology (ranging from crop domestication to plant defense). An URL link to
the article for discussion will be provided prior to the journal club
meeting via an email announcement to the plant sciences listserv. 

While graduate students will play a major role in these discussions, we
encourage every one to attend (even if you can only do so sparingly),
contribute, and enrich the discussions. We consider this journal club as one
of the avenues that will enhance intradepartmental communication.
