[Plantsci] Research Retreat Program

Dear all,

 

The SPLS Research Strategic Planning Committee is happy to present the 2013
research retreat program (attached).  There were 49 presentation proposals
out of which 15 presentations were selected as oral and 34 as posters.
There were more proposals for oral presentations than the available time
slots and we hope that those who could not get the oral slots look for an
opportunity to present at our next retreat.  We also gave higher priority
for talks to those who are relatively new in our school.  

 

For presenters, please review the title and presenter/Lab name in the
program and let Chieri Kubota (ckubota at ag.arizona.edu) know if you need to
update.

 

Presenter instructions:

Oral presentations:  15 min talk followed by 5 min questions.  Please load
your presentations onto the computer in the conference room by 7:30AM if you
are a morning speaker or by 1PM if you are an afternoon speaker.

 

Poster presentations: Poster presentations should be prepared to fit inside
a space of 48 inches x 48 inches. We are told that these boards are foam
core. Foam core may not hold up laminated posters with push pins very well.
If your posters are already laminated, please consider bringing large binder
clips to hold the poster with.  Poster mounting time is scheduled in the
morning (7AM - 8AM). The conference room 'Sonoran' located in the Planning
Center building will be used for posters.
