Here is more information about our School of Plant Sciences Research Retreat
on Saturday January 26th, 2013. Please register from the following link so

7AM - 8 AM: Check-in/Poster setup
8AM - 12PM: Oral presentations
12PM - 1PM: Lunch
1PM - 4PM: Oral presentations
4PM - 6PM: Poster session/Social hour
6PM - 7PM: Special Nighttime Biosphere 2 tour (~60 min), $10 fee per person
- paid in advance

 

Presenter instructions:

Oral presentations:  15 min talk followed by 5 min questions.  Please load
your presentations to the computer in the conference room by 7:30AM if you
are a morning speaker or by 1PM if you are an afternoon speaker.

Poster presentations: Poster presentations should be prepared to fit inside
a space of 48 inches x 48 inches. We are told that these boards are foam
core. Foam core may not hold up laminated posters with push pins very well.
If your posters are already laminated, please consider bringing large binder
clips to hold the poster with.  Poster mounting time is scheduled in the
morning (7AM - 8AM). The conference room 'Sonoran' located in the Planning
Center building will be used for posters.

 

Graduate students and family members:

There are a few casitas available for your overnight stay if you are
interested in extending fun time with your friends and families over the
weekend ($79 per bedroom). [Please let Chieri Kubota know of your interest].
