[Plantsci] Phil Jenkins Retirement Event

Dear Friends of the UA Herbarium and of Phil Jenkins,

 

As many of you know, Curatorial Specialist Senior Phil Jenkins is retiring
from the University of Arizona Herbarium after 20 years of dedicated
service. Phil has been an excellent resource and an unparalleled colleague
for so many of us over the years -- academic botanists, home, pet, and zoo
owners, farmers, ranchers, horticulturalists, extension agents, land
planners, ethnobotanists -- the list is endless.

 

Please join us to celebrate his contributions by attending an
open-house-style event in his honor *Wednesday, October 26, 5pm* at the new
Administrative Offices and Seed Bank for Native Seeds/SEARCH, 3584 E. River
Road (flyer with map attached).

 

To give him a good send-off, we'd also like to ask you all for a little

help:

 

Do you have pictures of Phil? ...stories about him??? If so, please send to
Betsy Arnold (power-point slides would be great).
