[Plantsci] More Information about the Form.RE: Photo Release Form

Hello All,

 

I have received some questions about the Photo Release Form that has been
placed in your mailbox today by the PLS Website Committee.  This is not a
new form but the same one as I sent out a few weeks ago via email.  This
form is for you to give permission to have your photo placed on the website
(mostly for the Directory.)   It is not mandatory for you to have your
picture on the website, as Human Resources as explained - you may decline
your photo to be placed there due to a variety of issues that do not need to
be discussed or volunteered.  This is your decision.   No one can force you
to put your picture on the web.

 

But, with that said, it is a great idea the Web Committee had, to have all
of the School members pictures placed on the new website (if the employee
agrees.)  So please do not feel pressure in any way to have your photo or
not have your photo on the web.  This is voluntary.  Not even you
supervisors can insist you have your picture on the web.  Your decision is
the only decision that matters on this topic.   I hope this helps with some
of your questions.

 

Also, as stated below, if you have already submitted a form  you do not need
to submit another one.  Just put the blank release form that is in your
mailbox in the recycling bin. (Be Green)

 

If you do want to have your picture on the website, please turn in the
completed form to me.

Hello All,

 

Dr. Tanya Quist has put a photo release form in everyone's mailbox in the
Forbes Building, this is for the new PLS Website.  If you have already
turned in a form to me, you do not need to submit a new form.  We don't need
duplicates.  The Web Design Committee is trying to assist in getting these
forms completed.  Thank you Committee Members.

 

Again, if you have completed and signed a form - you do not need to complete
and sign a new one.
