Colleagues,

 

The University of Arizona is committed to a working and learning environment
defined by civility and mutual respect. In CALS we will not tolerate any
form of discrimination or harassment.

 

One of CALS' established policies is that all CALS employees are required to
do the UA's Sexual Harassment Prevention Training. This available at the

If you haven't already done this, please do so as soon as possible,
preferably by the end November. Although this training focuses primarily on
sexual harassment, the principles it teaches can be applied to all forms of
harassment. Not only is it important that we maintain a harassment-free work
place, but it is essential that everyone understand our personal
responsibility and liability as well as ensuring to do what we can to
educate ourselves about harassment. After you have done the training, please
print and sign the certificate you will receive and then submit it to your
departmental office to be kept on file. If you supervise someone, please
ensure your supervisees have done this training. Please have all new
employees do this training as part of their orientation.
