Subject: UAccess Employee and UAccess Student Systems: System Availability

The UAccess Employee and Student systems will not be available from 5:00 pm,
Friday, July 15 through 6:00 am, Monday, July 18, 2011 in order to perform a
systems upgrade.

The upgrade process will also impact the refresh process in UAccess
Analytics. Between Friday, July 15 and Monday, July 18, Employee Data in
UAccess Analytics will reflect information as of close of business,
Thursday, July 14. Student and Research data will be refreshed over the
weekend as normal, barring any unforeseen circumstances. All data will be
refreshed and available as usual on Tuesday, July 19.

The systems upgrade will bring a new menu structure and new navigation. The
most noticeable change you will see upon logging in is that the current
left-hand navigation menus will be replaced with new drop down menus at the
top of the screen. The Student and Instructor Centers will not be affected
by these changes.

The browsers that will provide the most optimal user experience after the
upgrade are:

  * Windows XP - Firefox 3.5 and higher
  * Windows Vista/Win7 - IE 8 and Firefox 3.5 and higher
  * Mac - Safari 4 and Firefox 3.5 and higher

You can view the new menu, navigation structure and other features on the
Mosaic website on the Benefits/Features page
(http://mosaic.arizona.edu/upgrades/benefits). Frequently Asked Questions
are available (http://mosaic.arizona.edu/upgrades/faqs).

Information on training demonstrations and open labs is available on the
UITS Workshops and Training page
(http://www.uits.arizona.edu/workshops/workshop_detail?view=232).
