Dear all,

 

The Evolutionary Genomics, Phylogenomics and Phylogenetics Discussion Group
(EPPDG) is a new discussion group that will meet weekly during this Fall
semester to discuss papers selected by participants and relevant to the
group. Please note that the recently announced Phylogenetics Discussion
Group (PDG) now merges with this new discussion group and will NOT be held
as separate discussion group this semester.

 

The detailed scope of the EPPDG, the schedule of meetings and kinds of
papers to read will be decided in the first meeting. Anybody interested is
welcomed to join!

 

The first meeting will be WEDNESDAY AUG. 31, AT 11.00am, in BSW 321
(http://www.arizona.edu/buildings/biological-sciences-west).

 

To receive future correspondence about the EPPDG, or if you cannot attend
the first meeting, please send an email to Nils Arrigo (Barker

Lab) or Brigitte Marazzi (Sanderson Lab) at arrigon at email.arizona.edu and
bmarazzi at email.arizona.edu, respectively. Thank you! People who already
signed up for PDG will automatically be added to the new group list.
