A free training class of Chest-Compression-Only CPR for the public with
hands-on training using life-like mannequins. 

Experienced and specially trained medical students will walk you through the
necessary steps and answer your questions.  Presented by the University of
Arizona Sarver Heart Center.

Chest-Compression-Only CPR is an easy, efficient way to help a victim of
cardiac arrest. 
Developed in Tucson at the UA Sarver Heart Center, Chest-Compression-Only
CPR is easy to learn, easy to remember and easy to perform. There is no need
for mouth-to-mouth breathing.

Research has shown that calling 911 and administering continuous chest
compressions is the most effective way to increase the chance of survival of
sudden cardiac arrest in adults.

REGISTRATION/MORE INFORMATION:  No pre-registration necessary.  RSVP to

PARKING:  Free parking is available in UMC's patient/visitor parking garage

FEE:  No fee

IMPORTANT:  Participants will receive a confirmation stating that they
completed the training, but this is not a certification class.
