Basing my review on the <i>IRC draft 27apr25-ddb </i>document, my only comments for consideration pertain to Resolution 4: <i>"Commit to inclusive knowledge co-production that involves Indigenous Peoples."</i></div><div><i><br></i></div><div>I would encourage tweaking this language, as "involving" Indigenous Peoples doesn't fully capture the idea of co-equal partnerships explicit to the concept of "knowledge co-production" and it could afford an easy avenue for delegates to pay mere lip service through "consultation".</div><div><br></div><div>Perhaps something to the effect of: <i>"Commit to inclusive knowledge co-production <span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)">that upholds Indigenous Peoples' right to self-determination, ensuring their equal participation, leadership, and ownership in all stages of the process."</span></i></div><div><br></div><div>Additionally, the following sentence is fairly long and would benefit from being broken up (additional copy edit tweaks included below). </div><div><br></div><div><i>"to actively encourage all delegates to respectfully recognize the value of indigenous and local knowledge and acknowledge Indigenous Peoples as the custodians of that knowledge<span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,0)">.
