In this context, as part of the efforts to combat desertification, land degradation and drought, and restore rangeland health and productivity to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the UNCCD is hiring a consultant to produce a Global Land Outlook (GLO) thematic report on rangelands and pastoralists that provides a framework for action to manage and restore rangelands as well as the evidence base for sustained financing and cooperation at all levels and across all sectors.</i></font><font face="Calibri" class=""><i class="">”</i></font></span></div><div class=""><font face="Calibri" style="font-size: 15px;" class=""><br class=""></font></div><div class=""><font face="Calibri" style="font-size: 15px;" class="">This contract shall run for 7 months starting not later than 15 Jan 2023 with the delivery of all final outputs not later than 30 Aug 2023. </font></div><div class=""><font face="Calibri" style="font-size: 15px;" class=""><br class=""></font></div><div class=""><font face="Calibri" style="font-size: 15px;" class="">The deadline for expressions of interest is 27 Nov 2022.</font></div><div class=""><font face="Calibri" style="font-size: 15px;" class=""><br class=""></font></div><div class=""><font face="Calibri" style="font-size: 15px;" class=""><font class="">Note: </font>Only individuals who can act as independent, individual economical operators are qualified to apply.
