Pastoralists play a key role in the stewardship, conservation and sustainable management of rangelands that cover more than half of the earth’s land mass.
Innovative solutions exist for achieving sustainable pastoralism that generate benefits in all SDGs and synergistically integrate them. Pastoralists are not just victims but also strong allies who can play a vital role in facing global challenges, including the Covid-19 pandemic and climate change.
