Here is a reminder about this special issue of the Animals journal on "Extensive management in rangeland & grassland ecosystems”. 

The deadline for MS submissions is Monday 20 March, i.e. in 2 weeks’ time.

Especially the IYRP Working Groups on afforestation, water, gender, biodiversity or rangeland degradation neutrality might be interested in contributing.

Dear colleagues working in the rangelands and grasslands,

I wanted to bring to your attention the below special edition of Animals; an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal devoted entirely to animals and animal production systems, published semi-monthly online by MDPI.

I’d be grateful if you could please share broadly with your networks and colleagues. We are keen to hear from research groups with high quality results, seeking publication in international open access journals who may not necessarily have the funds to publish. Animals have offered 10 papers published for free, or 20 with a 50% discount.

We are keen to receive a broad range of submissions looking at various aspects of the biophysical elements of rangeland/pastoralist production, but also socio-cultural and policy research.
