Hi everyone,

I am happy to share the publication that appeared in a Tamil Magazine, கிடை
(with similar english meaning of Herd / Flock of Cattle) that publishes
scholarly written articles on ‘Livestock, climate socio-economic conditions
of the pastoralists. In the recent issue, this journal mentions a complete
article on the 'International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists' with the
emphasis of the declarations proposed by the agencies over the IYRP. The
entire magazine file is appended herewith.

Please forgive me as the article is printed in Tamil and if you are
interested this can be translated by your known Tamil Scholars or by any
suitable application software programme for the translation. If you need
further assistance, please let me know.

Here in Tamil Nadu, India, a handful of agencies and NGOs have started
functioning on the IYRP and take this important message at grass root
level, by which they support the Nation, welcoming the IYRP and
further action plans.

:Looking forward to disseminate this information and further to receive
your comments

with the best regards,
