Dear all,
As this mentions the IYRP, it qualifies to go through this listserv (we are trying to limit the mails to those that make direct reference to the IYRP).
Livestock, Climate and the Politics of Resources: a primer, by Ian Scoones, PASTRES/IDS
https://www.tni.org/en/publication/livestock-climate-and-the-politics-of-resources <https://www.tni.org/en/publication/livestock-climate-and-the-politics-of-resources>
The book brings many of the arguments also used in the IYRP initiative, including the recent ones about afforestation (see pp 21-25), in a readily understandable language.
Note also the webinar on Wednesday 26 October at 14:00 CET; registration is here:
https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_8cJMId8_SKuo_3jMqvIl2w
And note that WAMIP now seems to refer to Indigenous Pastoralists (formerly Indigenous Peoples).
Cheers,
Ann
