[IYRPsupportgroup] Report on webinar organised by South Asia RISG for World Biodiversity Day

Dear all,

The Regional IYRP Support Group (RISG) in South Asia is particularly active. See attached the report on a webinar that the group organised on 22 May - World Biodiversity Day - on “Recognizing Pastoralists for their Knowledge, Local Breeds and Biodiversity Conservation". The group invited the chairs of the RISGs in Europe and in Central Asia & Mongolia to contribute to this event, which was attended by 77 participants across the globe.

This is an example of the kind of activity at regional level that can raise the profile of pastoralism in the lead-up to the IYRP.
