[IYRPsupportgroup] Fwd: FW: UN Food Systems Summit and ILRI's engagement

Dear friends of IYRP

Following on my previous email about the UN Food Systems Summit and plans
to hold National Dialogues, here is another opportunity for us to engage in
influencing this debate so as to incorporate pastoralist views and
understanding of healthy rangelands. The UN is holding "Public Forum"
discussions online starting this week, which you can register for.
Discussions are in five areas, all of which are relevant to us!  If you do
decide to participate, please let me know (without replying to all please!
).

Action Track 1: (1) Zero hunger, (2) Access to nutritious food, (3) Safe
food.  *Public forum: *25 February from 14:00 – 18:00 CET

Action Track 2: (1) Food waste, (2) Food Demand, (3) Food environments *Public
forum: *3 February from 16:00 – 18:00 CET

Action Track 3: (1) Protect, (2) Manage, (3) Restore *Public forum: *26
February from 14:00 – 16:00 CET

Action Track 4: (1) Strengthening agency, (2) Inclusive policies, (3)
Multi-dimensional welfare and access *Public forum: *1 February from 15:00
– 17:00 CET

Action Track 5: (1) Economic resilience – Being equitable and inclusive,
(2) Social resilience – Producing broad based benefits for all people, (3)
Environmental resilience -Generating positive and regenerative impacts on
the natural environment. *Public forum: *4 February from 14:30 – 16:30 CET
