Dear Hossein,

Thus far, we have a table listing all the letters of commitment and the organisations that sent them. Soon a map will be going onto the website which will visualise where the letters come from. Look at the top lefthand corner of the opening page of the website.

In the national and regional groups that will be preparing for the IYRP, it will be important to ensure that all major stakeholder groups are involved - including, of course, the pastoralist organisations.

A major step in action planning will be done in the lead-up to and during the Joint International Grasslands and Rangelands Congress in Nairobi in October 2021 - we have three sessions devoted to the IYRP. We will also have to ensure that people who cannot attend the IGC/IRC physically will be able to join the IYRP action planning virtually. During this time of Covid, we are getting lots of practice in that!
