The COAG endorsed the proposal and draft resolution to be submitted for the consideration of the 165th session of the FAO Council for adoption by the 42nd session of the FAO conference.

The Council meeting is in December 2020 and the Conference is in June 2021.

The Mongolian Government gave a short and clear justification and call for support.

This proposal was accepted in writing by I don’t know how many countries, and orally - just now - by Myanmar, Sudan, Philippines, Mali, China, Peru, Turkey and Kenya. There were no objections and no questions - also not about sources of funding.
