[IYRPsupportgroup] FYI: Yak herding in the Asian highlands

Dear all,

Various translations of the minutes of our ISG meeting on 25 June are being made. Our ISG member Ruijin Long (Lanzhou University / ICIMOD) is now circulating the Chinese version and seeking to generate IYRP support letters from key Chinese entities.

Many of you may also be interested in an article that Ruijin and colleagues published this year in the journal Sustainability about "Ethnic and cultural diversity amongst yak herding communities in the Asian highlands” (see attachment).
