 Dear Hossein,
You are right - the pdf version does not seem to allow access to the hyperlinks to the PPT files, so I now send the Word version of the report, which should work.
Cheers,Ann

 Dear all,
Here is a report on the the pre-Tropentag workshop on “Research in pastoral systems: filling gaps and avoiding methodological traps” that was held on 18 September 2019 in Kassel, Germany. The report was compiled based on notes by Lucy D’hondt, a trainee with Vétérinaires Sans Frontières (VSF) in Belgium, host of the European Focal Point of the Coalition of European Lobbies for Eastern African Pastoralism (CELEP). She has put the files of the PPT presentations behind the titles of the presentations. We thank Lucy for her support!
The workshop was organised by two member organisations of CELEP - Agrecol Association and DITSL (German Institute for Tropical & Subtropical Agriculture) - in the framework of the initiative for an International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP).
You may also be interested in the short films on pastoralism - focussing on mobility of livestock and people - that were shown on the eve of the workshop - see http://www.pastoralistfilmfestival.com/
We thank the various members of CELEP, the IYRP Support Group and the Rangelands Initiative on the International Land Coalition for spreading the message about the film festival and workshop, and we look forward to further collaboration in raising awareness about pastoralism and rangelands on our long trek towards an IYRP.
Cheers,Ann
