[IYRPsupportgroup] Update on Ministerial Breakfast Meeting 12th March 2019

Dear All,


Apologies for the delay in writing with a summary of the Ministerial Breakfast meeting - I made the most of being in Kenya by heading to the field directly after the meeting to the site of an EU-funded project lead by ILC and CELEP members and to which ILRI is providing technical support, piloting participatory rangeland management (PRM) in Kenya and Tanzania.  I also took Enkhie with me to share her experiences of PRM from Mongolia - so her visit to Kenya has some wider benefits beyond the Breakfast Meeting. Anyway now that I am back I have had a chance to write a short summary of the meeting - see attached, including some quotes from presenters. Abdelkader and Ernest - if you are able to add any quote to this from your speeches, please do. Some photos also attached.
