Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE) has formed a working
group of about 30 people from different disciplines (animal scientists,
geneticists, economists, agronomists, environmental scientists, sociologists, geographers)
on pastoralism in France. They are reflecting on the current state of research
and key issues that researchers need to address to support the preservation, adaptation
and development of pastoralism as an agro-ecological form of livestock
husbandry and care for the land – and as a source of livelihood also for future
generations.<o:p class=""></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-top:6.0pt"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;

particularly interested in the human–animal–environment relationship and hope
