5 million of technical assistance to foster <span class="xmarkqked5ex2i">innovation</span> for <span class="xmarkjsiv81kna">adaptation</span> in developing countries (up to USD 250,000 for each successful application). <strong><span style="font-family:Roboto">The
third call for submitting applications is now open until 30 September 2022.</span></strong></span><span lang="EN-GB"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="xmsonormal"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:Roboto;color:#202020;background:white">UNEP-CTCN technical assistance will be provided to developing countries on a competitive basis. The selected applications will be further developed
to design a customized solution tailored to the need of a developing country, and the solution will be implemented by a technology provider selected by the CTCN. One of the successful proposals to the fund includes an award-winning portable flood barrier,
