[IYRP General List] Updated Branding Guidelines of the IYRP Global Alliance

Dear supporters and members of the IYRP Global Alliance,

We are pleased to share with you the updated version of the IYRP Global Alliance Branding Guidelines, with special thanks to Ayça Orhon and Ann Waters-Bayer, and the members of the Global Secretariat. As before, the document is updated to facilitate a common communication approach for the IYRP Global Alliance.

This document provides a general overview of our branding principles, including the elevator pitch of our Alliance, the use of the logo, collateral item samples, and more, ensuring consistency in both oral and visual language across our communications.

Please note that the content is intended as general guidance, and all members and supporters are strongly encouraged to adapt the visual samples etc. to suit the specific dynamics of their own contexts—except for the logo and the way we refer to the Year and our Alliance, which should remain consistent across all communications.

We have also clarified key terminology regarding how we refer to the Year and our partnership:

IYRP2026: This abbreviation refers to the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists.
IYRP Global Alliance: This abbreviation refers to the global partnership of pastoralist and supporting organizations working toward achieving the objectives of IYRP2026.
We also take this opportunity to encourage you to follow the IYRP Global Alliance social media accounts, re-share content, tag these accounts, and/or use the hashtag #IYRP2026 in your posts to help amplify our shared messages.
