[IYRP General List] Three co-chairs of the IYRP coalition as of January 2024

Dear all,

Since January 2024, the Global Coordinating Group (GCG) for the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP) coalition has three co-chairs: Burmaa Dashbel (Mongolia), Enrique Michaud (Peru) and Igshaan Samuels (South Africa).

Igshaan has been co-cordinating with Maryam Niamir-Fuller since June 2022 - and Maryam was coordinator for years before that. Maryam has stepped down as co-chair but (fortunately for all of us!) will remain in the team in the virtual Global Secretariat of the IYRP coalition. 

Welcome to Burmaa and Enrique as the new co-chairs!
