[IYRP General List] General Update on IYRP activities

Dear Friends and Supporters of IYRP 2026

Support for the IYRP 2026 continues to grow and we further encourage
letters of support to the Government of Mongolia on how supporters would
engage in activities in support of the IYRP. We thank everyone thus far who
continue to promote the IYRP at local, national, regional and global
levels.



During the last six months, there were numerous activities in support of
the IYRP, which were facilitated by several institutions worldwide and many
more participated. These interactions are steadily increasing as more
individuals and institutions become aware of the IYRP and lend their
support. We hope in 2023, to further increase the involvement of
pastoralists in IYRP activities as discussed at meetings with the Regional
Support Groups and the Global Coordinating Group.



Below is a summary of the activities that the global and regional IYRP
groups have implemented between July and November 2022. There are also
several events planned for 2023 that you are most welcome to participate in
or just spread the word.



Until we meet again in 2023, we wish you a happy festive season and
prosperous new year!
