As you may know, the first session of the COAG Sub committee on livestock will be held on 16-18 March 2022. </div>

<span style="color: black; font-size: 12pt;">The rules and qualifyers for attending are aligned with the COAG's ones: Member States and Organizations with an Observers' agreement are allowed to attend the official sessions. Discussion and information papers
are beeing prepared. </span><span style="color: black; font-size: 12pt;">The General Secretary of this sub committee is Badi Besbes, Head of NSAG branch. </span><br>

<span style="margin:0px">In agreement with Badi, I would like to inform you in advance that a call for side event's proposals should be open by the end of this year, hopefully. Nor the final number of side events, or the level of competition are known, <span style="margin:0px;background-color:white">yet</span>. </span>However,
given the global agenda related to the IYRP and the expected resolution of the UNGA, a proposal coming from the IYRP support group and putting at the forefront pastoralisme + sustainable livestock and/or biodiversity would be welcomed. </div>
