Hi Rashmi and Chris,
Very nice. I am going to share with my colleague Cargele Masso who has been leading the CGIAR Biodiversity and Environment platform as he could have some good suggestions both on the text but also processes/platforms that we can feed this in to as we move into IYRP.  I will copy you both in the email and also suggest he joins your working group.

BTW – I like the use of the word “span” as in “rangelands span over 54% of the global terrestrial surface…” as this supports the idea that not every bit of this 54% is rangelands but rather it is a lose ‘coverage/potential coverage’ – “span” is a good loose word to describe this.
