Dear Igshaan,

please find attached my revised Action Plan,

I have seen there is no *Generation Renewal *cited in the whole Plan.

In Spain we are thinking of realising a *World Gathering of Young
Pastoralists* as part of the *International Year of Rangelands and
Pastoralists (IYRP) 2026*.

Thanks to the support of the Community of Madrid, we have access to an
excellent venue offering a large main hall, several smaller rooms for
parallel sessions, and the funding for translation services, catering, and
the excursion on the third day.

*Title of the Gathering:* *Young Pastoralists and New Technologies*
*Location:* Madrid, Spain
*Dates:* 9–11 April 2026

*Organisers:* Fundación Trashumancia y Naturaleza, Community of Madrid,
IMIDRA
*Collaborators:* FAO, CIHEAM
*In partnership with:* IYRP Youth Working Group (and other WGs)

To ensure broad global participation, we are currently seeking funding for
the *travel and accommodation of young pastoralists and speakers.*

*We have already approached several funders, but have not received any
answer so far*

Dear Colleagues from IYRP, we would deeply appreciate your suggestions on
any public or private institution of your knowledge, that could
consider *co-funding
this initiative*,.

I can send the concept note to any of you who is willing to support us for
finding funding for travel and accommodation of young pastoralists and
speakers for this event in Madrid

If we cannot find this funding, we will not be able to realise the desired
gathering.

We could reduce it to only Europe and the Mediterranean…but the idea of
this *World Young Pastoralists gathering* is to realise a final “Young
Pastoralists Manifesto” to bring to Mongolia at its world IYRP gathering

I still believe this is possible

Thank you all for your support

Kind regards

Francesca
