[Iyrp-gcg] Global Action Plan of the IYRP Global Alliance

Dear GCG members

Recently, we asked members to include possible activities that they are
planning and/or could possibly still be organised in 2025 and 2026 that
will aid in the celebration of the IYRP. We circulated an Excel document of
actions and extracted that information into a narrative version (attached)
for easier reading and understanding.  We dont view this as the final list
of actions the GA are planning for 2025 and 2026, but we will use this as a
guide to plan around and invest our energy and resources into. This
excludes all the activities that will occur at national and local levels.

We needed this document as the Govt. of Mongolia wants to assess and
determine what and how they can support the Global Action Plan. We hope
that it will also be of value to the FAO IYRP International Steering
Committee when they do their planning.

Note that the Global Alliance doesn't have the funding to implement these
activities but will support those who have proposed to host these
activities or implement these actions.


As mentioned, we will keep the Global Action Plan Excel document as a
living document to keep track of proposed activities.

If there is anything major we missed or that only arose recently, please
let us know so that we include it. General comments are also welcome.
