Thank you very much for your collective decision that you will remain as Co-Chair of the GSG for IYRP   and continue to manage other duties for a transitional period of 1 year. 
Yes, this was a clear offer/suggestions  to all of  you from our members during the last GCG meeting.

After careful consideration of your comments at the last meeting, also taking into account the encouraging emails that some have sent, and in agreement with Jim, Ann and Barbara, I would like to propose that I will remain as one of the Co-Chairs of the GCG for a transitional period of 1 year, with your agreement. Therefore, this Call is for self-nominations for the second Co-Chair.  Ann and Barbara will continue to manage the website, mailing lists, etc., and Jim will focus on the North America RISG.  We expect the RISG Chairs and Co-Chairs will pick up the momentum, and the two Sub-group Chairs/teams will continue and develop/implement their work. 


Please see the attached draft for your review and I hope it meets your approval.  Kindly respond before the end of this week.
