Dear Maryam,

 

First, I wish to really appreciate your personal sacrifice in this process before and your willingness to hold back and support the transition process. It takes a real leader with leadership traits. Jim, Bab, Ann and yourself have earned great admiration from the IYRP team and most importantly to some of us who are learning to scale the heights of global leadership!

Dear GCG Members

 

After careful consideration of your comments at the last meeting, also taking into account the encouraging emails that some have sent, and in agreement with Jim, Ann and Barbara, I would like to propose that I will remain as one of the Co-Chairs of the GCG for a transitional period of 1 year, with your agreement. Therefore, this Call is for self-nominations for the second Co-Chair.  Ann and Barbara will continue to manage the website, mailing lists, etc., and Jim will focus on the North America RISG.  We expect the RISG Chairs and Co-Chairs will pick up the momentum, and the two Sub-group Chairs/teams will continue and develop/implement their work. 

 

Please see the attached draft for your review and I hope it meets your approval.  Kindly respond before the end of this week.
