[Iyrp-gcg] Joint message from the GCG Co-Chairs

Dear GCG Members

We the Co-chairs of the GCG are pleased to bring to your attention that in
addition to other responsibilities as Co-Chairs of this group, we have
agreed on the following division of focus between us:

Igshaan will focus on supporting the Sub-Group of Outreach to Pastoralists,
and collaboration with the International Year of Mountains (2022).  Maryam
will focus on the Sub-Group on Global Events and maintaining the Master
List of the network.

Both of us will work together to strengthen the RISGs, our relations with
Government of Mongolia and FAO, our engagement with IRC 2025, matters
related to overall communications (including website) and other matters.
The monthly Updates to the General List will be reduced to a quarterly
task, and we will rotate that between us. The role of taking minutes of our
GCG meetings will be rotated among all GCG members, alphabetically.

We kindly ask that you copy both Igshaan and Maryam when necessary to keep
us informed.  Please use the following email address for Igshaan:

We are thankful for the trust you have placed on us, and will continue to
do our best to strengthen the network towards the goal of an impactful IYRP
2026.
