Dear GCG members
Please find attached minutes of a meeting with the FAO COFO Working Group
on Dryland Forests about the role of pastoralists and rangelands, that
Igshaan and I attended last week. It has been prepared by FAO's Fidaa
Haddad. There are good possibilities for collaboration, and a lot of useful
information has been provided.

I will also share this with our IYRP ISG Afforestation Sub-group, and take
this opportunity to say that the sub-group expects to share a draft outline
of a policy brief by 24th August.
