Dear Maryam,

Just before the deadline …

You might consider including in the section on “What's next?” a mention of the 11 multistakeholder RISGs around the world that have formed and are planning and implementing activities in the lead-up to 2026. Did you receive any responses yet about activities being planned that might be attractive for the business sector? How about a film festival and/or a fair on rangeland products, e.g.during pastoralist day/week celebrations? In the draft action plan for the IYRP, the Asians mentioned marketing of animal products, WWF mentioned a "producer/consumer engagement campaign”, AFGC/SRM mentioned innovation fairs to share new ideas for pastoral infrastructure etc, and The Rangeland Partnership mentioned “international social media campaigns and video productions to raise awareness of producers, consumers and policymakers worldwide”.

Cheers,
Ann

This conference brings together public and private stakeholders involved in the animal wool value chain and is organized by the Sustainable Fibre Alliance each year. Our main message is to ensure that this value chain is sustainable and equitable "end to end" (that is, from producer and production all the way to consumer.)
