Dear GCG members

 

I am very pleased to inform you that on 6 October, Ambassador Vorshilov made a statement at the UN's Second Committee meeting where the agenda items on Poverty eradication and Agriculture development, food security and nutrition was  discussed. 

 

The Ambassador took this opportunity to give extensive information on IYRP and appealed to Member States to support it. It is expected that the IYRP proposal will be submitted to the UN General Assembly, but the date/time is not yet known.
